Experimental Evidence

I’ve been working on rings for a while…. With no proof of this until now. This is the first ring where I’ve actually soldered the shank to a setting and sweet-talked a cabochon into that setting. This is very delicate work for my inexperienced hands… I’m used to swinging a hammer and getting it DONE! But that’s not cool when you’re working with a stone that could crack. So delicately we roll along and here we are… In all her unfinished glory… I don’t have a name for her yet, but she’s going to remain mine forever so I’ll have plenty of time to think of the perfect one for her.

I’m on my way, and one day rings will begin to appear in my shop for the perusing and taking. I can’t wait!

Here’s a sneak peak of a clever girl who’ll be in the shop today or tomorrow at the latest… Have I ever mentioned how much I love copper??
